The Wedding Preparations

Manisha and Samandeep had their wedding in two parts. The first was the Hindu ceremony and the main reception. On a separate day, in Birmingham, they had a traditional Sikh ceremony

Where they had the wedding?

The wedding ceremony was held at Guardwara Baba ke, Hockley, Birmingham. A traditional Sikh ceremony with both bride and groom wearing stunning traditional outfits, absoulety suitable for the occasion

What was the weather like?

The ceremony was indoors so weather was no issue at all.

How did the wedding go?

A traditional Sikh wedding ceremony was followed by Langar downstairs at the Gurdwara. We stayed in the Lanagar hall for family portraits and had a lot of fun with all the family from both sides as show by some of the photos below

Any good stories?

I travelled from Nottingham to Birmingham early in the morning and thought I allowed myself plenty of time. I still thought I may be late. However, I was the first one at the gurdwara so had time to organise myself before the families arrived.
