The Wedding Preparations

For this wedding, I was second shooting with my friend Matt Moore. The whole of this wedding day was based at Peak Edge Hotel. The Bridal prep room was spacious with lots of light, providing opportunities for lots of natural light photos. My day started with helping Matt with Bridal prep and then capturing a quiet, calm and low key Groom prep

Where they had the wedding

Peak Edge Hotel is locateds in the heart of the picturesque Peak District National Park. Providing a great back drop for the the special day. There are lots of locations within the venue for capturing great photos of the day

Laura and Dan were blessed with beautiful weather on their wedding day

How did the wedding go

Laura and Dan had a civil ceremony. Close friends and family wore lovely, colourful outfits to brighten an already exciting day. The ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception was held in the Oak Room which provided the perfect scene for Laura and dan’s special day. With large skylights, allowing natural light to flood in, hanging crystal chandeliers and a bespoke-designed bar, the Oak Room is the perfect canvas to paint upon the day of the couple’s dreams. The private terrace and garden area provide further space to celebrate the day in the tranquil Derbyshire countryside

Any good stories

It was a very calm wedding with lots of relatives and friends. Laura and Dan had their dog for part of celebrations. We had some lovely sunset light to do a couple shoot. Laura was 36 weeks pregnent so the family was on the watch in case the baby decided tomake an early appearence
