The Wedding Preparations

I was fortunate enough to be shooting this wedding with my good friend Alex Buckland. As a second shooter, I was on groom prep duty at the start of the day. I was nice and early to Vinesh’s family home in Rugby. Once the ceremonies were done in the home, the groom and family headed to Winstanley House in Leicester.

Where they had the wedding

The main ceremony and reception was held at Winstanley House, Leicester. The main hall was set up for the Hindu ceremony with the Mandip forming the main area of attraction. Hindu weddings are made up of some very solemn parts but also much excitement at other time during the ceremony, as can be wintnessed with some of the photos
Later on in the day, the main hall is reconfigured for reception. Amazing transformation

What was the weather like

It was dry and a calm day with guests being able to go into the extensive gardens

How did the wedding go

As always with Hindu weddings, there was much colour, excitment and merriment. From breakfast for all the guests to lunch , canapes to main wedding breakfast at reception, there is plently of fantastic quality food to enjoy
