Emma & Josh's Wedding
The Wedding Preparations
For this wedding, I was working with a friend of mine Horatio Photography. My start of the day was with groom prep few miles away at the couples cosy home. A bit tight for space but managed to set the scene for the day
Where they had the wedding?
Normanton Park Hotel is a beautiful 18th century hotel located on the shores of Rutland Water. It is the perfect venue for a wedding, with stunning views of the lake, lush gardens, and ancient trees. The hotel has a variety of spaces to accommodate weddings of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. The Rutland Suite opens to include the beautiful conservatory, with unrivalled views of the water.
What was the weather like?
Emma & Josh were blessed with beautiful weather on their wedding day
How did the wedding go?
The wedding ceremony was held at Norman Church, a short walk away from Normanton Park Hotel. Normanton Church is a Grade I listed church in the village of Normanton, Rutland, England. It is located on a peninsula of land jutting out into Rutland Water. The church was built in the 18th century by the Heathcote family, who owned the Normanton estate. The church was originally used as a private chapel for the Heathcotes, but it was later opened to the public.
Any good stories?
The groom drove himeslf to the church in an eye catching car – a Lamborghini. For the couples shoot in the evening, we walked back to the chuch for our Off Camera Flash photography/ We have some lovely food and whole ceremony was very lively
